This is “괜찮아” or “Gwaenchana” from singer-songwriter, Kim Sa Rang, not to be confused with the actress, Kim Sa Rang (I have such a hard time googling him because he’s so much less popular) from the album, “U-Turn.”  He’s one talented guy… he release his first album which was self-written, self-composed, and self… well… everything when he was only 18.  And he made sure you didn’t have to look that piece of info up; he called the album “I Am 18 Years Old.” Yeah, no kidding.  It’s grungier than his more recent material where he seems to have settled more into softer modern rock sound.

His voice isn’t particularly unique or unusual, but it’s striking all the same. It has a comforting tone but it’s impressive because he uses it so well. Does that make any sense? I’m having a difficult time understanding myself… haha.
